SIGNS FOR WEATHER FORECASTING
Weather forecasting refers to predicting the future state of the atmosphere. People from nineteenth century have predicted the weather conditions by just looking at the sky. When I went to a village, there I witnessed an old lady predicting the exact weather conditions by just seeing the sky and the current time by the sun’s position in the sky. I was stunned by her forecast. Nowadays science has developed by bringing certain parameters for forecasting weather conditions. Some ways to predict weather can be done by observing the wind movement and even by observing dew drops in grasses. Also movement of smoke, Pine trees, humidity are all good indicators for predicting the weather conditions. It is a fact that animals are capable of forecasting weather and so they move to their sheds before rain. Even this can be used as a sign for predicting weather. However there are certain instruments used to measure and predict the weather like thermometers to measure heat, barometers to measure air pressure, hygrometers to measure humidity, anemometers to measure wind speed, wind vanes to measure wind direction as well as weather satellites, rockets, radar. Science has developed to such a extent so that long range forecast can be done before. So do watch out weather conditions and plan your work for the day. ?????? ????? ????
