The Toughbook model is such an invention designed for the users who are in need of reliability, durability, battery power and above all toughness. The laptop is said to have a triple-pronged protection uniquely designed to withstand thermal pressures and accidents. Even the hard disk is protected by the magnesium coating which eliminates scratch effects. The keyboard is given liquid protection and it is designed to withstand 200 ml soaking. There was intensive testing of this model in Japan and its results were good. The laptop when made to fall from a height of almost one meter from the ground sustained no big damage than little bruises. Prolonged tests were also done and it retained its life. The masterpiece is covered mostly with plastic and there is a lid adjoining a silver bulge with screws in the end. Thus this is an effective model for rough users.
