Micro Buddy Tracking System: A new technology to track friends
Our friends often tend to keep us in contact wherever they go. This is achieved using messengers, e-mail, mobile phone calls and through social networking websites. So keeping touch with the dear ones is a different but old issue, rather tracking them is the latest artwork. The Micro Technologies has released a brand new application namely “Micro Buddy Tracking System” or “Micro BTS” exclusively for buddies with close relationships. This application is enabled using a mobile phone. It is a location-based service that integrates connectivity and sharing in one package. It is simply installed in a cell phone through a quite simple process and is used to constantly update the position of the person to his buddies through messages and map locations. This service uses GPS technology to indicate the real time location of a person. This application thereby automatically updates the position of the person through the maps installed in the cell phones. The person is also alerted if a friend who has the application installed in his phone is near. Hence this product is defined to have a community – based approach in which all the users using the software are connected. This application can also be applied for the crime investigation purpose for tracing criminals or anonymous users and also at enterprise level for increasing performance. The cost of the application is estimated as Rs.750 and it is acceptable for its function. Thus there is a new level of technology ready for our use, so start tracking your friends.
