Nvidia GT300: The next level of GPU series
People often resort to games for their relaxation. The PC games play a vital role in the gaming technology. Many high graphic games have entered the market and not all are made available to the normal PC. This problem is overcome by using high quality Graphic Processing Units (GPUs). The Nvidia – leading graphic card manufacturer of the world has come out with a lot of graphic cards till now. Yet another valued addition is the Nvidia GT300 which is the next level of GPU architecture. The new GT300 has come out with distinct changes and is presumed to take the GPU generation to new heights. This product has the capability to introduce the Graphic Processing Unit into Multiple Instructions Multiple Data computation mechanism rather than Single Instruction Multiple Data mechanism as given by its predecessors. It is exclusively designed to work with DirectX 11, the next level Nvidia Corporation was aiming to work with. Taking the position as successor of G80 which worked with DirectX 10, the GT300 architecture is designed to be a new form of number – crunching machinery. Thus the above features enhance the computational efficiency of the product. This product is said to possess low power consumption and is an update to Compute Unified Device Architecture – a parallel architecture for computation designed by Nvidia. It is expected to hit the market by 2009 and will set a milestone in the Nvidia era.
